Bartonella and Babesia co-infection detected in patients with chronic illness

Photographs taken by the parents of a rapid onset, homogeneous, non-pruritic red rash on the upper left arm (arrows) in a 2.5-year-old girl (study participant 7) co-infected with Babesia odocoilei, Bartonella henselae and Bartonella quintana.
